I believe each of us knows it. Certain things are done in certain ways, depending on what our personal energy balance looks like. Social interaction, learning, housework, working – everything follows the flow of our own energy. All too often, we are either surprised by ourselves at how much energy we currently have available, or we don’t understand why our energy battery is running on low power.
I always knew that I could move mountains and produce high-quality work in no time – when a project deeply interests me. I’m then like a burning wall of flames, consuming everything and bringing forth something new. But afterward, I often lie around for days like burnt charcoal and can’t get anything done.
I’ve often been asked how I can complete my tasks so quickly – whether at work or in my private life. When I want to, I move quickly, like a whirlwind.
Since I understand my Human Design Chart, I also know why this is: I am a Manifestor, a being with infinite creative energy that I can access in an instant and that hardly anyone in my environment can keep up with. When I glow, I literally burn and rise to peak performance – be it digital products, creative projects, books, or other things. At this point, I’m so full of energy that nothing can stop me… until this energy is depleted. Then I need an extended recovery phase. Then nothing works except taking a break, staring at the ceiling, watching series, or doing nothing.
Until my energy battery is recharged and I can work on the next project with full passion – quickly, effectively, inspired, and unstoppable.
That’s what Manifestors are. That’s me. For me, this is completely normal.
This explains a lot to me: Why I’m often completely exhausted in the evening after a 9-5 job, but glow in my business and accomplish more in 4 hours than in 8 hours. It explains why I managed so well with my energy balance and everyday life during my studies: because I could organize my time and energy autonomously. Afternoons in bed, working through days and nights without energy loss and then adding an extensive recovery phase. That’s how I tick, that’s how I function. And for good reason: because I’m a Manifestor.
This realization – that my energy balance has been fixed since birth and that I’m already living it or trying to press it into tight social structures (and sometimes failing at it) – has given me so much. I know better and better what I want and how I want it. I know how I work best, which tasks I complete when, and when I take things a bit slower or take the pressure off. A weekend without to-dos? If I feel it, I do it! A weekend full of projects and 1,000 steps? If I feel it, I do it!
